TruePlate cooks meal prep fresh in Liverpool each week and delivers it across Liverpool, Bootle, Crosby, Formby, Ormskirk and Southport on Sunday and Wednesday, from one order that closes on Thursday.

Jake Wynne spent his twenties in Liverpool kitchens, most of it in fine dining. He knocked on the door at 8 by Andrew Sheridan without an introduction, did a trial shift and got the job, after working at Bouchon on Castle Street. Then he started TruePlate from his kitchen table. Forty orders the first week. Then a hundred. Then six hundred and fifty meals gone in eighteen minutes.
I've always been into the gym, and I'd always train before work or after work, but I didn't use to eat properly myself. So the idea was to create a healthy eating brand that could get a few people eating better. It's really for the people of Liverpool.
Every dish carries its full ingredients and all fourteen allergens, on the dish and on the box.
He has just taken the keys to the first TruePlate home, on Chapel Lane in Formby.
